I highly recommend seeing the Museum of Art & Design's exhibit of necklaces from its permanent collection. There are probably about 50 in upright display cases, plus at least 100 more in drawers underneath the visible displays. Everything from mid-century modern (including some nice Ed Wiener and Earl Pardon examples) to the new century, in all materials from pure gold to telephone books! It runs until some time in May. The other (non-jewelry) exhibits there are also well worth a look. IP: Logged |
