A reminder that the Changing Reflection exhibit of 19th to 21st century silver, metalwork and jewelry at the Rhode Island School of Design Museum and highlighted in this forum back in November 2017 will be closing Oct 1, 2019. If you're headed up to Rhode Island to catch Changing Reflection, a new silver exhibit is opening on May 3, 2019 called Gorham Silver: Designing Brilliance 1850-1970 which looks like it will be fabulous. Rizzoli is publishing a companion catalog.

For a taste of the companion book to Gorham Silver: Designing Brilliance 1850-1970 due to be published May 2019, check out "The Glories of Gorham" article in the March/April 2019 issue of The Magazine Antiques.
