There are many references that show Theodore B. Starr was in business from 1900-1924. Over the years, June & I have seen many items of holloware marked Theodore B. Starr that were most certainly made before 1900. We have always suspected that Theodore B. Starr was in business before 1900. This 1902 ad shows clearly that Theodore B. Starr was in business as early as 1862 as Starr & Marus and then in 1877 beccame Theodore B. Starr.
