I'll have to find images of this, but Newark owns a presentation pitcher, made to celebrate the 50th anniversary in the chasing department at Tiffany & Co. of Edward Lester. This was in 1898, and Lester himself was charged with the chasing on the pitcher, which has elaborate floral work on it...the acid-etched inscription was added afterwards, so he was surprised by the gift. The inscription specifically mentions the Forest Hill Works in Newark. I recall researching the form in the Tiffany archives (25 years ago) and finding that it was a ROMAN OVAL pitcher, and a recent design. We purchased it from descendants, along with Lester's 1848 apprentice indenture to John C. Moore, and various other family papers related to the pitcher.
