I was looking through some old copies of The Magazine Antiques and Ms. Beckman has an article in the December 1978 issue on silversmiths from Columbus, Ohio. Your library should have a copy of this issue and it would make a nice companion to your new book on Cincinnati silversmiths. IP: Logged |

Thanks for the tip! It looks like another trip to the library is in order. With the addition of this book (and a previous mag. article) I now have decent documentation on my Kinsey pitcher except for why he signed it on the outside. According to this book E.Kinsey sold out to his brother for a few months in 1844 for some unknown reason and then joined him. I pretty much know about Greenwood. It's been fun and finally (this was my third attempt) I got the book. IP: Logged |
