That IS cool... I know they have something similar to repair musical instruments silver and brass... And, something like that is use to make the highly decorative WW1 vases made out of Arty shells! Any other tools shown in that 21 yearbook? IP: Logged |

I did not know of this book! I do know that George Gee wrote a book of gold formulas. Basically lists of gold alloys for solder and colors, in any karat of gold. Thank you Scott, I'll have to look for this. P.S. Snarling is one of the most fun and satisfying jobs as well as being quite easy to do! IP: Logged |

We lost our home twice to severe flooding ,,so yes we missed ,and lost a lot.. But good to be back and see all the nice silver here and learn.. Thanks , G. IP: Logged |
