A friend gave me this old catalog from 1960 from the David S Shure and Co. Inside is stapled a copy of a note that was written by the unnamed author to a friend named Corinne. The note is a request for Corinne to buy a pair of candelabra from the Shure Company, but it also highlights the fun and thoughts she had in ordering these candelabra. I hope she brought the fluted ones and that they went well with her “cloth”. This really takes one back to the days of the typewriter; that many people today have never used. Does anyone know if the Shure Co still is in business? IP: Logged |
