Hello All, New here. Thought I'd mention that some newly scanned ISC annual reports (1949, 1950, 1951, 1952) with some photos, including Modernist designs, are online. The 1949 talks about their CBS TV show sponsorship. The 1953, 1954 and 1955 just arrived, showing some Modernist designs and adverts, especially 1847 Flair. These will be up by the weekend. Robert, thank you for the artdesigncafe link. I've just spent way too much time (which is fine, I'm an escapee from Miami...) exploring it! [This message has been edited by agleopar (edited 09-09-2017).] IP: Logged |

ah, thanks for the interest. watching the live coverage on Florida right now... I see you've been a member for over a decade. Do you, or others, know where the posts are on this forum concerning a previous (?) initiative on the forum to retrieve/share hard-to-find silver/plate trade (design) catalogues? I've dug up quite a few that are offline in archives but of course haven't located a huge number of others. Right now I'm going through adverts in the Meriden papers. So much online now to investigate with all of this mass digitization! IP: Logged |

I'm sorry but I am not familiar with that end of things here, aside from the obvious search. Hopefully the folks who are whizzes at all that will chime in soon... IP: Logged |
