[13-0206] Reference works report that the molds for American Beauty were bought by Mauser, and then later modified. An eBay item, No. 87887674, was described as being Mauser's Junior Rococo pattern, but it looks like American Beauty to me. Does anyone else have an opinion? IP: Logged |

Mauser did get the dies (not molds) from Shiebler for the American Beauty pattern. To make this a bit easier for everyone here are the photo's from the auction: It sure does look like American Beauty. Here is an image of American Beauty by Shiebler -- You decide. IP: Logged |

The bouillon spoons from eBay arrived; they are indeed Shiebler's American Beauty, not the later version with the die modification by Mauser, and most have the 'winged S' maker's mark. IP: Logged |
