Sgt. Silver unregistered	posted 04-21-1999 03:26 PM [13-0206] Reference works report that the molds for American Beauty were bought by Mauser, and then later modified. An eBay item, No. 87887674, was described as being Mauser's Junior Rococo pattern, but it looks like American Beauty to me. Does anyone else have an opinion? IP: Logged

Sgt. Silver unregistered	posted 04-28-1999 02:51 PM The bouillon spoons from eBay arrived; they are indeed Shiebler's American Beauty, not the later version with the die modification by Mauser, and most have the 'winged S' maker's mark. IP: Logged
