Just today I obtained a nice Vienna coffee spoon enamelled in yellow and blue. Does anyone else have other enamelled Vienna coffees? I would love to hear about them. Brent IP: Logged |

Brent, we have never seen a spoon with an enameled handle. We do, however have an enameled strawberry fork. There is a photo of a set of these multi-motif forks pictured in The Magazine Antiques of July 1995. We also have a single coffee spoon, #4, with a two-headed eagle applied in the bowl. This is, I believe, the symbol of Austria. IP: Logged |

Thank you! My spoon is a number 7, with yellow down the center and blue enamel within each loop. It appears to have been given as a birthday or christening gift in 1896. I don't have a copy of the Antiques issue in question, unfortunately, but I'll see if I can dig one up. Thanks again! Brent IP: Logged |
