Cheryl and Richard Posts: 154 Registered: May 99	posted 12-06-2000 02:42 PM Brent, we have never seen a spoon with an enameled handle. We do, however have an enameled strawberry fork. There is a photo of a set of these multi-motif forks pictured in The Magazine Antiques of July 1995. We also have a single coffee spoon, #4, with a two-headed eagle applied in the bowl. This is, I believe, the symbol of Austria. IP: Logged

It appears to have been given as a birthday or christening gift in 1896. I don't have a copy of the Antiques issue in question, unfortunately, but I'll see if I can dig one up. Thanks again!
