Shiebler made a series of teaspoons, each having a month of the year in raised letters on the shaft. Their style, with flowers at the top and a spot for a monogram below it, suggests that they might be either an extension of the Fiorito series or, at least, created by the same designer. We have seen only teaspoons. Has anyone found other pieces? To date we have accumulated March, August, September, October and December. We have duplicates of March and October which we would be willing to trade for months we lack. ------------------ IP: Logged |

We have two spoons. One is April (see photo below). The other spoon has a different flower but the month has been buffed off. We believe that there must be at least 12 spoons in the set. We hope that as a group we can come up with all twelve. June and I would like to borrow one of each to photograph for inclusion in a future Book of Silver update.

We have 9 tea spoons: February, April, July, August, October and December. Some spoons do not have the month stamped; the month does not appear to have been buffed off. We also have a December youth fork (6 3/8"). IP: Logged |

Great find, Bob. Now we just need to locate May & Nov. Then we will have all 12 available to photograph for the Book of Silver. IP: Logged |
