Where is the Tiffany flatware factory located? Is there more than one? What are the most recent new flatware patterns? Does the same factory make all those silver smalls (i.e. key chains) and hollow ware? IP: Logged |

Tiffany opened a factory in the Forest Hill section of Newark, NJ in 1894. Am not sure to what extent it is still operational. Tiffany stopped making its own flatware in 1985, outsourcing it to Lunt in Deerfield, MA. Suspect others make a lot of Tiffany's other silver as well. Tiffany's latest flatware patterns are: "Padova," designed by Elsa Peretti and introduced in 1984 (made in Italy), and "American Garden," designer unknown, introduced in 1992 in celebration of the 500th anniversary of Columbus's discovery of the New World. Padova gets its name from the Italian town where the flatware is made. American Garden multi-motif, over 25 plants & flowers. IP: Logged |

The Tiffany "factory" is now located in Parsippany New Jersey. I was there a number of years ago and at that time the staff numbered twenty something. In the last few years Tiffany has laid off, fired or bought out over a thousand workers. Lunt no longer makes their flatware. I believe it is done offshore somewhere. IP: Logged |
