verwald Posts: 27 Registered: May 2001	posted 06-26-2001 02:44 PM The "Made for Tiffany" item is a round 10" footed cake platter with pierced and engraved grapevines & scrolling branches, scroll edge, 2 scroll handles, 1 on each side. It has no marks other than those I gave you. Do you know whether Tiffany has kept records of the items they purchased from other manufacturers? IP: Logged

Martine Posts: 55 Registered: Jul 2001	posted 07-15-2001 10:27 AM Pictures of the cake platter and marks would be most helpful. The typeface of the "made for Tiffany & Co." marks varied over the years. The "138" may be a number more important to the other silver company than Tiffany. IP: Logged
