I'm researching the M. Fred Hirsch Co. from Jersey City, NJ. They were active in the 20s and 30s as manufacturers under their own name, and (according to Rainwater and others) jobbers. I've noticed a couple of pieces of holloware bearing a striking resemblence to Tifffany pieces. Does anyone know if Hirsch was a jobber to Tiffany? IP: Logged |
