Hi, I have a Tiffany small round sterling box that is marked Tiffany & co. 3716 T 5900. I have seen in other postings that the T puts the date of manufacture between 189? and 1902. What year does 3716 indicate? Thank you, Lang IP: Logged |

Please see the responses in this forum to Jeff's question dated 1-18-04 re a Tiffany footed platter. The "T" indicates a date of manufacture of 1891-1902. The pattern number of 3716 corresponds to a date of 1873-1874. As Richard Kurzman suggested, the pattern presumably originated in 1873-1874 and then continued in production until 1891-1902.
