Here is a weird teaspoon by Duhme. The design is a copy of Whiting's Lily of the Valley--except there are roses instead of LOTV. The bowl is slightly different from Whiting examples, and this spoon is also much heftier than Whiting's LOTV, which tends to be rather flimsy. I saw some tablespoons in this Duhme design about 5 years ago, but those were the only other pieces I've seen. Evidently this design wasn't a home run for Duhme. Perhaps Whiting sued Duhme; or is this design similar to--but legally distinct from--LOTV?
