We have recently acquired a set of 12 Gorham Old French Forks and were hoping for some advice in terms of actual Piece Type or usage purpose.. The Forks measure 5 7/8" & are hallmarked PAT. 1904 Lion/Anchor/G STERLING.. I'm thinking possibly a Fruit Fork, but have been told they may be Patty Forks.. I did find Patty Dishes within the Gorham Archive CD Catalog 1906 (pg 104-1) however I'm really not sure what a Patty is??? Any help would be appreciated..
