Hello Again, I was going through some more of my grandmother's silver and I came across a set of 12 small demitasse spoons with a markings on the back that are as follows: "Sterling F.E. Brodie". I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this maker, it is perhaps Southern being that my family was originally from the North Carolina area. Thanks Chris ------------------ IP: Logged |

Although the person interested in this information may no longer be looking in on the forum, sterling silver items markded F E Brodie though few may still be around. F E Brodie is possibly the jeweler Furman E Brodie of Rock Hill, South Carolina. He would have been the retailer of the pieces mentioned in this old posting. There is a Southern and Carolina connection there at least. IP: Logged |
