I have an extra long pickle / olive fork, sterling, 1888, Is anyone familiar with this company? I can't find on the net. Thanks IP: Logged |

It says "Sterling?" N. F. Silver Company as a division/brandname of Oneida, which did not begin producing sterling flatware until the 1940s. IP: Logged |

N. F. stands for Niagra Falls Silver Co. Wev very correctly points out that it is an Oneida mark. My impression has always been that NF made primarily for sales premiums and free with coupon items. There are a lot of these pickle forks out there, which seem to have been given away by pickle companies. IP: Logged |
