This is a circa 1870s sterling pick/spreader (?) I have had in my collection for several years. It is only marked "4 STERLING". I think the dealer I bought it from thought it was Gorham. It is very fine quality and would certainly be at home with any of their arctic motif silver items from the same time. Does anybody have any suggestions about the maker?
