Hello! In 2 different listings on the web having Tiffany holloware pieces for sale, the markings read Silver-Solderer - EP Double M. Both sellers have different versions of the dates. Can anyone please clarify the reason it says Double M, & the proper dates of this mark? I have checked my books & online silver mark sites and have been unable to come up with that mark. Thank you for your time. Jersey IP: Logged |

I am guessing that the "DOUBLE" refers to the quality of plating (similar to "quadruple plated", etc.). IP: Logged |

Hello Paul! Thank you so much for your response. It certainly makes sense to me. My only question is why is that mark not shown in any of the Tiffany marks books. Thanks again for your time. Enjoy the day! Jersey IP: Logged |
