Does anyone know what pieces were re-issued by Gorham in 1995 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Chantilly? I have found an article about it but it only states that there are six pieces but doesn't name them. Apparently there was a photo that showed the six pieces but my online resources don't show the photo, only the text. Thanks Robert IP: Logged |

I forgot to mention that I do have two pieces that have the 100th Anniversary stamp on the back. One is the cheese scoop and the other is the pierced ice serving spoon. IP: Logged |

Hi I got a reply from Gorham in response to my inquiry regarding the re-issued pieces in 1995 for the 100th anniversary of Chantilly. Unfortunately, the information doesn't quite jibe with the article I found that first mentioned these pieces. That article stated that there would be 6 re-issued pieces. The email states: Platter Spoon The new pieces included the following; Small Cheese Scoop I have been able to verify the existance of the ice spoon, Large Flat Handle Butter Knife, Small Cheese Scoop and Sugar Sifter. Does anyone else have or have seen the other pieces listed? Thanks Robert IP: Logged |

Hi there, I have owned two of the 100 year pieces that have been marked.. One was the platter spoon, the other was the leaf lettuce fork. I have owned new, but unmarked with the 100 year mark, The Entree/Mac server, large FH butter knife, long olive fork and olive spoon. The thinking,in the community, is that Gorham turned out some of the pieces without the 100 year mark. It has been 5 years since I have seen any marked "100 year" pieces, and Chantilly is still my best seller. Marc IP: Logged |
