Through my preliminary research, I have found reference to G. Andersen who designed the Karen pattern, which was later produced by ONC. He was a 1950's silversmith who died in 1950. Would this mean that he worked with Old Newbury Crafters at one time or did he sell the design to them? I am just curious to know what the connection is. His pieces are marked G.Andersen and match the Karen pattern perfectly. IP: Logged |

Hi Carla, Do a search on the Forums; I had the same question a few years ago and the thread should have all the information you need. As I recall, Gunnar Andersen or his widow did sell the pattern to ONC, and they still produce it. Brent IP: Logged |
