Just found out today that Lunt has been acquired by Reed & Barton. I was unaware they had filed for bankruptcy last year. Odder was the fact that earlier this month, I was looking on their website and they had released a look book for 2010. It has now disappeared from their website and the only catalogue is from 2007 (glad I downloaded it when I did). So how many of the big manufacturers remain in the US? R&B, ONC, Empire and Tiffany are the only ones I can think of right now. Robert IP: Logged |

Boardman Silversmiths in CT - 11 employees - and the membership of SAS? I figure the trade is almost a corpse, one little pinky moving, barely... IP: Logged |

Since you mentioned it, the article I read about Lunt and Reed & Barton mentioned that Lunt had 6 employees and R&B had 102 full and part time employees. How very sad. Robert IP: Logged |
