[26-1129] Well at least by me anyways..
I hope that picture of the trademark is clear enough. What a job it was taking that. I picked up a treasure trove this weekend. I just couldn't resist. A Honey pitcher, with behive on top, by Meriden, (dated and with pat#, quadruple plate tray by Forbes, trays by the old english letters EGW&S in mint condition (probably resilvered),Spider wed webster <ahem> teaset, SFP Friedman teaset, 11" williamsburg pewter bowl in near mint cond. Various manchester and ssmc stering spoons, adjustable duchin 5 candle candleabra Good luck with that mark guys IP: Logged |

Sounds like you had a fun hunting expedition! Thanks for thinking of me while you were out. Not sure when they discontinued Devonshire, but 1914 was the date of introduction. Can't really say why, but have always assumed this type of salad set was post-WWII. I have a similar set with matching sterling base bowl from the '50s. Cheryl ;o) IP: Logged |
