[01-0927] Hello all, I have a spoon here that is very confusing. It has 2 makers marks. One is Dominic & Haff and the other is Duhme & Co.. I have identified the spoon as Dominick & Haff as far as the handle, but not the bowl. The pattern I found is Trianon. I can not find anything picture wise on Duhme & co. Can someone please explain this to me as well as what the pattern is?

You've correctly identified the pattern as Trianon Pierced, introduced circa 1901, manufactured by Dominick and Haff. In this case, the spoon was retailed by Duhme & Co. It's not uncommon to find the marks of both the manufacturer and the retailer on sterling flatware of this era. [This message has been edited by smfc75 (edited 01-05-2003).] IP: Logged |
