[01-0976] Can anyone identify this hallmark?

I should add this is on a sterling silver bowl with a pierced rim..I had a feeling it was Austro-Hungarian from ca. 1920..but that's just a guess; would appreciate any help on identifying this. IP: Logged |

The mark (not a hallmark) looks like George A. Henckel & Co., New York, New York. If so, the "1750" would be a stock number. IP: Logged |

It looks like the maker's mark has been overstamped with a "J" on the left and a "P" on the right. Does anyone know what these marks are? IP: Logged |
