I'm a newbie so bear with me. I inherited a pretty nice set of this and would like to continue filling in with "odd" and unique pieces and more serving pieces. Is there a source out there that lists the pieces that were available as well as other info on the pattern? Thanks! IP: Logged |

This is a pattern that seems to have endless items in it. My own feeling is there will always be new and interesting articles. Mount Vernon was made for a very long time. It comes in a seemingly infinite number of sizes and variations. The story I have heard from a number of people is that many years ago, Mount Vernon was a wholesalers premium. That is storekeepers would receive bits and pieces of Mount Vernon when they placed orders for store merchandise. Which would explain why one can find so many odd assortments of it. Good luck in collecting this pattern with its unendling surprises. IP: Logged |
