Hi All I just got this small bowl (6"L x 4 1/2"W x 2"T) by Dominick and Haff. It has a hammered surface with a Greek key border and has the number 709 on the bottom. Does anyone know if there is a name for this pattern? I really like this pattern would like to acquire other pieces if they are available. Also, is there anyway to tell if the hammered finish was done by hand? Thanks Robert IP: Logged |

Hello Robert After doing numerous searches I suspect there is no name for your lovely bowl. However, I believe it dates, based on similar pieces I've seen to be around the 1880's. Have a great day. Jersey IP: Logged |
