[26-1625] I can hope this one makes to your forum. A little about me. I am an activity Director at a local Assisted living facility. Silver and it;s mysteries are a hobby I came to enjoy through my grandmother. I am just learning about silver and some of it's history. There sure is a lot to learn here! I have been having a lot of trouble finding a mark on a piece of flatware. Thought it was Baltimore but it doesn't fit the mark. Below is a link to a drawn picture and the piece itself. As you can see the "B" is in the wrong place for Baltimore and I can not find one to match.

Well, mu collecting is a hobby. I am still trying to decide just what pattern and maker I owuld like to find, so needless to say I have many pieces that do not match. My grandmother hooked me on it many years ago. I was the polisher! I do have a beautiful 12 cup punch bowl plain design that is unmarked and I enjoy just having it around. I also have 2 3 stick candleabras by gorham that our family uses in weddings. A set of Damansk for eight. I am starting this and saving the most interesting pieces for my grandaughter. that is all at this point but like I said I am new to this and still am enjoying the mystery of each piece. Hope that this tells you a little about me and my hobby. IP: Logged |
