Hello all, I thought I would share this picture of the Gorham pitcher that I posted about in this thread: Does Provenance Affect Your Appreciation? Two weeks ago I got married (finally!) and used this pitcher as a vase to go on top of the grand piano. While I don't have a full picture of that, I did take one when we got home:
And yes my dog Florian had to stop and smell the roses - LOL! Anyway, I thought I would share this. Robert IP: Logged |

Thanks everyone! We passed the 25th anniversary mark back in April so it is nice to finally have it legal! And even though we didn't register and asked for no gifts, our family and friends thought better. We didn't receive much silver (mainly because of all that we have )but we did receive a set of corn cob holders, a pair of Gorham Corinthian column candlesticks, and two Wedgwood by International bowls. It was fun and know my former "concern" with the pitcher has been replaced with a much more positive image. I wonder what the original owner would have thought of its latest use? IP: Logged |

Robert-- What wonderful news! Congratulations! Your doggie clearly has excellent taste in both silver and arrangements. That is lovely. IP: Logged |
