This is a pretty egg spoon in what I would call a beaded oval pattern. It is marked W.G.Jr. and that may stand for William Gale Jr. He used the mark William Gale Jr. in 1866, but since this is a small object may have had a shorter mark made. Egg spoons have always fascinated me as they always seem to turn up in old movies at a reflective turning point in the movie where the head of the household makes a grand announcement.
