American Sterling Silver Suspender buckles

Gorham made these suspender buckles in sterling. The Gorham date marks are 1890 for one and 1891 for the other. They are both inscribed November 29, 1891, so I assume that the retailer had in stock buckles from both years and just pulled two out of their inventor to fill the customer’s order. Does anyone know how the suspender would be threaded through the buckles? IP: Logged |
