Is there a way to get a list of museums and other institutions that have current and/or permanent silver exhibitions? IP: Logged |

Alas, no--at least not that I know of. I am constantly appalled at how ignorant I am of what other curators are showing. At least I know of no "shows" of silver now. Many museums have semi-permanent galleries of their silver collection--Yale, Boston, Dallas, Virginia. Some day the internet is going to provide the ability to network this way among museums--IF museums will take advantage of it. Museums are very turf conscious, you know... IP: Logged |

Well, why don't we start a list? If everyone would send us information on the collections / exhibitions they know about; SMP will create a WEB page for all to reference. Please e-mail any information to: info@smpub.com?subject=collections_new/permanent . This will be great. IP: Logged |
