Ulysses - I see you are a scheduled speaker at the conference on "Collecting the 20th Century - Tiffany to Pokemon" on October 20-21, 2000 in Cooperstown, NY. (607-547-2586) Will you be speaking on Silver/Jewelry? Will others? Would this be a good conference for someone who is focused but new to collecting silver? IP: Logged |

Scott-I hadn't opened this because I just thought it was an announcement. This conference is apparently targeted at museum professionals from smaller institutions. Why I am an "authority" on e-collecting is probably because I'm one of the few curators who've done it yet. I don't know if there will be much silver discussion, because while I've bought silver for myself on the internet, I've only bought ceramics for the museum. IP: Logged |
