I recently received from a friend a large silver tray with grand handles, raised feet, and a raised fence type border to keep items in the tray inside. On the bottom it has a flag design and below that states Walker & Hall, Sheffield, England, 53360. Also on the bottom but at the other end it has three very small triangles in a clover pattern with somethings imprinted in each as well as the number 37 stamped near this grouping. I was wondering when this may have been made, if it is sterling or plated. Thank you. IP: Logged |

Based on your description of the marks, it is electroplate and dates from 1891 to 1909. IP: Logged |
