The trademark looks like a wreath/crown of thorns with a sword through it. There is a # also, don't know if this is pattern # or not I can't find this trademark anywhere. HELP!! IP: Logged |

This appears to be one of the trademarks of the Watson & Newell Company, one they used (according to Rainwater) from 1905-1929. They were in Attleboro, MA, and became the Watson Company in 1920. THey produced a lot of flatware, and other, fairly lightweight silver objects (the kind of thing that was retailed by jewelry stores as wedding gifts, etc.). The # would be the form or pattern number, used in the factory to track the manufacturing. IP: Logged |
