I can't really show images of these yet, but in the spirit of the season, I am glad to announce that a New Jersey collector has recently donated a very interesting group of silver objects dating from 1844 to 1901. Ball, Tompkins and Black; Dominick & Haff; Gorham, Tiffany. Each piece will go on view in the Ballantine House next year, and every one of them enriches our holdings and adds to the story of silver in America that we can tell. IP: Logged |

Fantastic! I am looking forward to the photos and then seeing the items on our next visit to the Newark Museum.

Congrats and I too can't wait to see them, both the images and live. Not sucking up (much), but I like your eye when it comes to the new pieces for the museum. IP: Logged |
