The Weequahic Trophy, 1904. Made by William B. Kerr Co., Newark, and presented to the winner of the trotting competition in August, 1904 at Newark's Weequahic Park road horse track. Fourteen inches high. IP: Logged |

Thanks for sharing Ulysses. As a very young child, I remember my family speaking of the horse racing track in Weequahic Park. A beautiful park by the way. Looking forward to the new silver exhibit at the Newark Museum! IP: Logged |
