Father's Day, coming... it is the third Sunday in June. Will you be hosting a Father’s Day meal and decorating the table just for Dad? What is the perfect Father's Day meal? Breakfast, Lunch, Brunch, Dinner? Grilling and chilling in the back yard? You might want to use Dad's favorite past time as a theme - such as fishing, golf, hunting, gardening, tractors, silver. Etc. You might find dishware patterns that feature these design elements as this can spark a conversation. Use Dad’s favorite color to build the table setting around. If Dad is a collector, the table setting can acknowledge his interests by decorating the table with gifts for his collection. What do you suggest and what will you do? Please share with us a photo of your table setting's decorations. TIA IP: Logged |

After mothers-day it will be father-day,every year (year after year). Each day we are surprised what breakfast, brunch, dinner is placed and decorated at the table, mostly done by the housewife and she is doing that each day with the most attention. Preparing the table, cooking food. Not for all people is this a normal standard. With silver decoration food can be burned or taste terrible and without silver it is possible for never going to eat outside the door, because the home sweet home taste. It is nice to decorate the table but of course it will be done with special days. For instance Christmas. I think some ideas considering special celebration days are flying over to Europa, for instance like Halloween. Thanksgiving day is also typical American. I think there must be celebrating days for children, grandmother/father, uncle/aunts day, brother/sister day and of course the economic standard is raising well. A few important things to use for the table is an artistic input, good color combination, little present for the one in the spotlight. But above all tradition we have to know that not for everybody is placed a beautiful decorated table and with delicious food, we may be thankful for that and keep it in our minds. For all coming special dinners I wish you have a good dinner, with family, friends!!! IP: Logged |
