nautilusjv Posts: 253 Registered: Nov 2008	posted 12-19-2011 04:39 PM Every year a group of friends and I go on a Holiday Window Tour of the store windows along 5th Avenue. We start at Barney's and work our way south. After the tour, we have dinner near my apartment and then I host a Silver Dessert Soirée this year featuring macaroons. The silver used this year: -A Martin & Hall silverplate coffeepot -A "pair" of Gorham silverplate candlesticks, one dated 1912, the other 1920, but with same monogram. -A Walker & Hall creamer with Bacchus head spout. -A pair of Benetfink & Co. plate shell compotes with dolphin legs -Sterling Gorham creamer and sugar in the Strasbourg pattern -Teaspoons- 2 Durgin "Chyrsanthemum" and 2 Gorham "Imperial Chyrsanthemum" -China- Haviland cups and saucers with English aesthetic pottery plates by Blair and Co.
