June Martin Forum Master Posts: 1326 Registered: Apr 93	posted 05-17-2000 08:58 PM I saw a pair of sterling tongs this weekend with the marks: Herman Roth Larchmont, NY Handmade Sterling. They were plain tongs but of good weight and balance. I know there are/were a fair number of private silversmiths that took up the craft in the 1960's and 1970's to fill the retirement void. Has anyone heard of Herman Roth? Is he a contemporary of Henry Petzal? IP: Logged
