I have recently inherited a tea set. It is marked with the Newburyport Silverplate Mark. I can only find where this Newbuyport Silver Company was in business in the early 1900's, but closed after a few years. [snip ....SM] IP: Logged |

A simple way to get an idea of the value of your silver is to watch eBay for the next year and see what several similar items sell for. Or you could secure the services of a professional appraiser.
