I am not sure this is what you are asking, but Puiforcat was a deco silversmith well treated in "Argenterie Art Nouveau et Art Deco" by Annelies Krekel-AAlberse which covers U.S.,British,and European silver with marks at the end. My copy is in French, I am not sure if there is a translation available.

Otherwise a good book which really ignores Puiforcat is "Marks and Monograms of the Modern Movement 1875-30" by Malcolm Haslam really a mark book with a paragraph on each. It covers the same countries but also covers ceramics, glass, graphics, metalwork etc. I hope this helps, both books are worth buying.

Thank for your reply.

The first book sounds interesting. (I now have the second). I adore Puiforcat, there just happens to be much information available on him everywhere and much less on many later continental silversmiths and jewellery makers right up to the present day.
