Does anyone have information about and definitive dates on when the Brooklyn, NY company Canterbury Silversmiths, Inc. was in operation? IP: Logged |

I can repeat the information in Rainwater (1946-1950). Does that help? IP: Logged |

They manufactured sterling and plated wares. They filed a trademark on Nov. 12, 1948 (use claimed since Feb. 1946) for use on silverplated and sterling holloware -- serving trays, bread trays, water pitchers, food serving dishes, table platters and plates. Three trademarks are shown, including one from 1950. All include the word "Canterbury". No indication of whether or not they are still in business. IP: Logged |
