If you want to have the hinge repaired, go to a competent craftsman who does that kind of work. Silver soldered is a term often related to silverplate but literally refers to joining two pieces of metal by means of solder made especially for joining silver. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Oh well. Just a wild surmise. I'm looking for a metalsmith by the name of Martha Brennan who attended the 1949 Handy & Harman Workshop Conference in Providence, RI. Thanks for replying! IP: Logged |
