I recently purchased a squash blossom necklace with silver dimes soldered to the chain. The dimes are vintage mercury dimes with 1940 as the most recent. The pendant has one small turqoise nugget and the initials JRF stamped on the back. A similar necklace(perhaps the same one) is featured in "Indian Jewelry on the Market" by Peter Schiffer(1996). The only info he mentions is that it came from the Klines Gallery in Boonsboro, Md. Any help identifying the maker would be greatly appreciated.
