Scott, I will try to contact him and ask for an image of his mark. Harlan's work is incredible. His combination of enamelwork and wildlife is reminiscent of japanese work and show his concern for the environment. Fred [This message has been edited by FredZ (edited 10-24-2006).] IP: Logged |

Scott, I just emailed and called him and he seems agreeable to you request. I will pass on the information once I receive it. I might suggest a visit to his website at harlanbutt.com . He is currently preparing for an exhibit at the University of North Texas in Denton. He did explain that he currently etches his name and date in his work. Fred PS (As I recall there is no s in his last name.) [This message has been edited by FredZ (edited 10-24-2006).] IP: Logged |
