In its original box was included a biography and description of the making of this animal. The name was unfamilar so a check on the Net brought up his web site that might be of interest as Zimbabwe is not a place I expected an active silversmith to be working. IP: Logged

agleopar Posts: 850 Registered: Jun 2004	posted 07-02-2007 09:11 PM Patrick has cousins here in upstate NY and I first saw his terrific animals when a friend returned from her first trip to Zim. He started as an ivory carver and when the ban went into effect they became the masters for molds to cast them in sterling. He has done most african animals both as jewelery and larger table objet. How sad that Zimbabwe is going down the drain for all its peaple except a select few... IP: Logged
