[20-0409] I keep trying to convince my friend Carol that she should join the forums. For years , I have been trying but she remains forum phobic. I don't think she even lurks at the SSF. I generally don't have the time to reply to her inquiries and I am grateful that she understands and remains my friend. She just sent me the following mark. She says it is on a silver service. I think it is a fun mark but don't recognize it. Do you recognize the mark?

Now there's an odd trademark! Never seen it before. Apparently the design of the service is copyrighted though, so that may be a way to indentify the maker. Thanks for sharing! Brent IP: Logged |

Jersey, you're better than me! I thought I was seeing letters there, but didn't manage to decipher them until your suggestion - which I think is spot-on. I'm away from references, hope someone can find it from that. IP: Logged |

Hi FWG! Thanks for that verification. I am usually blind as a bat. What still has me are the "eyebrows". Decoration, flourish, or do they too have meaning? Hope someone solves the mystery. Scott, perhaps you could if possible, show us the entire piece please. Jersey IP: Logged |

This funny face mark has stayed in the back of our minds and we saw the following piece with the mark in Miami. Who it is remains a mystery.

Hello! I know this is really off the beaten track, but could it be some variation of the Weidlich mark? Look at the Owl & the eyes, & the W......close it in..........I'm really reaching here! It's been a long day! IP: Logged |
